- The Phenomizer-article written by Sebastian Köhler and colleagues has been selected for publication in the 2010 International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) Yearbook of Medical Informatics.
The paper entitled "Clinical Diagnostics in Human Genetics with Semantic Similarity Searches in Ontologies", originally published in the American Journal of Human Genetics, was chosen as one of "the best of medical informatics" articles over the preceding year. The Yearbook is non-profit project to advance the field of medical informatics and to stimulate dissemination of information and coherence between people belonging to IMIA's national societies.

- The HPO is developing a mapping file from London Dysmorphiology Database categories to HPO terms. A preliminary version of the mapping file is available at the downloads page.

- The annotation file now contains ~6,000 (~10%) more annotations (total: more than 56,000 annotations to more than 5,000 OMIM-entries). More annotations now have frequency information. - Phenomizer has been updated. For the suggested diagnoses there is now a link to
